Assette APIs

This document outlines Assette’s plans to offer a set of APIs for clients to access Assette programmatically.

Problem

Some firms have an IT ecosystem that Assette needs to integrate into. The most common requirement is to access data stored in Assette by other applications such as BI tools. Other firms want to programmatically provide data and content to Assette (above and beyond what Assette offers via Connectors and Loaders). In addition, certain firms would want to integrate Assette into existing workflows tools and CRM systems.
